This course is the ‘official training’ for Merit Badge Counselors and can also be done online at my.scouting.org. The Council Advancement Committee will be offering this short Merit Badge Counselor training session. In addition to presenting a comprehensive overview of the entire Merit Badge program, this session will also focus on the responsibilities of being a Merit Badge Counselor. This is an excellent orientation to the Merit Badge program for recently approved counselors and a great refresher/update session for veteran counselors. Scout Leaders and all others who would benefit from attending are also welcome.
