Registration Renewal Process
Scouting America provides an online registration renewal process for members. Listed below are several resources to assist with a smooth and improved renewal process. All members currently registered with Scouting America need to complete this process annually.
YOUTH REGISTRATION RENEWALS
Units have two options to choose from to renew individual youth memberships:
1) Parents can pay the $85 registration fee online directly to National. An email was sent directly to the parent with a link to register. ** 3% Processing Fee is added to online payments.
2) Units may collect the $85 registration fee and using the “Registration Renewal Form” can pay the registration renewal fees at NEPA Council. ** No Processing Fee
Registration Renewals that MUST BE PAID at the NEPA Council:
1) Scouts who have applied for Financial Assistance (Applications for assistance with registration fees and council fees should be submitted by December 2).
2) Scoutreach Units
ADULT REGISTRATION RENEWALS
Units have two options to choose from to renew individual adult memberships:
1) Adult Leaders can pay the $65 registration fee directly to the NEPA Council.
2) Units may collect the $65 registration fee and using the “Registration Renewal Form” can pay the registration renewal fees at NEPA Council. ** No Processing Fee
Before an adult registration can be renewed the following must be completed:
1) All PA Clearances must be current. The Key 3 in your Unit will receive an email with clearance dates for all registered leaders in your unit. Leaders who need to update their clearance information will be noted in the email.
2) Youth Protection Training needs to be current in order to renew the adult registration. Every Leader must take the YPT every year. A current YPT date will have an expiration in 2026.
