The Dan Beard District Klondike has been postponed to Saturday, February 28 due to the extreme cold that is forcasted for Saturday!!

Welcome to the Dan Beard Klondike Derby 2026, a one-of-a-kind celebration that brings Scouts together for winter adventure, teamwork, and festive fun! This year’s derby embraces a multi-holiday theme, honoring traditions and celebrations from across the calendar. From the spirit of Christmas and the remembrance of Passover to the excitement of New Year’s fireworks, patriotic pride on the 4th of July and Flag Day, the environmental awareness of Earth Day, the joy of Mother’s Day, the spookiness of Halloween, and the importance of World Health Day.

Scouts will race their sleds, test their skills at themed stations, and experience the magic of exploring different holidays woven into a single snowy adventure. We invite every patrol to bring their enthusiasm, creativity, and Scout spirit as we kick off an unforgettable Klondike Derby celebrating the traditions that connect us all.
