Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training
Cub Scout Leader Specific Training gives a leader the knowledge and skills needed to deliver a quality program for their specific position. These trainings cover the same requirements as the online "Cub Scout Leader Position Specific" courses (other than Hazardous Weather Training, but many leaders find the live version more rewarding and more fun! It also gives you a chance to meet other leaders, share ideas, and experiences. These in-person trainings will provide you with the basic tools needed to be successful in your leadership position.
Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders
This training is designed to help Den Leaders to plan and run successful and FUN den meetings. This course will also provide the learner with an overall glimpse and understanding- of the Cub Scout program. To be considered "trained", a Den Leader/Assistant Den Leader must complete Den Leader Position Specific Training, Youth Protection Training, and online Hazardous Weather Training.
Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters
This training is designed to help Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters to plan and hold a successful and FUN Pack Meeting for the whole family. This course will also provide the learner with an overall glimpse and understanding of the Cub Scout program. To be considered "trained", a Cubmaster/Assistant Cubmaster must complete Cubmaster Position Specific Training, Youth Protection Training, and online Hazardous Weather Training.
Committee Chair and Member
This training is designed to help parents, Committee Chairs, and Committee members to understand their role in the Pack, Den, and Family. This course will also provide the learner with an overall glimpse and understanding of the Cub Scout program. To be considered “trained”, Committee Chairs-, and Committee Members should complete this course as well as online Youth Protection training.
