100% Trained Leader Requirement

Every Scout deserves a trained Leader!  The Northeastern Pennsylvania Council requires all registered adults approved to be on a unit charter to be trained for their designated position. A unit leader has one year from their resgistration date in said position to complete the required specific postion training. Non-compliance with this training requirement will result in removal from the unit charter during renewal until the training is complete.

To help Leaders plan for this training requirement, NEPA Council provides a number of training opportunities, for each position.  In person training opportunities are listed below and can also be found on the council calendar. Please plan ahead and get trained for your registered position.

The Boy Scouts of America also provides many of these trainings online. Leaders can complete these trainings by going to http://my.scouting.org and going to the training section of the page.  A video is also provided on this webpage to help guide you to these training opportunities.
