Two Mountains Spring Camporee

The Spring Camporee this year will be a Viking Experience at Camp Acahela. Gather your patrol and begin planning your boats for the journey to Valhalla!

 

 This event is open to registered Scouts, Venturers and leaders only.  Arrow of Light Scouts are allowed to come visit for the day on Saturday, 5/16.  No pets are allowed in camp.

The Camporee will begin Friday (5/15) afternoon/evening with setting up camp between 6:00-8:00 PM

 

Kappróður (Faroese for rowing race, pronounced KAP-row-wur) will be this year’s exciting patrol highlight! Units are to bring all materials to construct boats to camp. Construction of boats may only be done between Check-In Friday Night and Launch on Saturday at 3:00pm.

 

Materials for boat construction are as follows:

• Corrugated Cardboard
• Duct Tape
• Packing Tape
• Masking tape
• Glue, such as white or wood glue (Rubber cement is not allowed)
• Non-oil based paint
