National Jamboree

 

It’ll be here before you know it…

The 2026 National Scout Jamboree will be held at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia July 22-31, 2026. The Summit has some of the most premiere outdoor high adventure elements in the county… whitewater rafting and kayaking, mountain bike and BMX tracks, canopy tours, awesome rock climbing opportunities, and so much more, plus hundreds of other scouting activities. This will be one of the biggest highlights of anyone's scouting career. National has a great web site that has lots of videos and information about the Summit and the Jamboree at www.jamboree.scouting.org.

 

 

LOCAL INFO FOR NEPA SCOUTS…

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Council is sending a Contingent of 36 male Scouts BSA (up to age 17) to the Jamboree. This contingent still has a few openings, so if interested, now is the time to sign up! Any female Scouts BSA wishing to attend should conact our neighbors at the Minsi Trails Council.

Our Council cost for the Jamboree has not been finalized yet but will be around $2400. This will include the Jamboree fee, transportation costs, and pre-Jamboree training weekends and all major gear, equipment, meals and incidentals. 

 

HOW TO SIGN UP...

Use the link below to secure a spot in the contingent, or stop by the Scout Shop to put in a deposit.

Youth participants must be at least 12 years old, and not yet 18 years old by the first day of the Jamboree. 

 

JAMBOREE ADULT CONTINGENT LEADERSHIP…

We are proud to announce the adult leaders for the Jamboree contingent are Mr. Adam Evans, Scoutmaster of Troop 34 in Jessup and Mr. Brian Davis, Scoutmaster of Troop 160 in Clarks Summit. We are currently looking for 2 additional assistant leaders (age 21+)... if interestedd, contact Dave Srebro at the Service Center.
