Instructors will help you learn to camp, cook, work with woods tools, tie knots, first aid, map and compass, hiking techniques, nature identification, and much more. It will also give you the opportunity to work with other leaders, meet new contacts, and reinforce skill techniques.

Completion of “Scoutmaster Specific Training,” and “Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills”
are required for a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster to complete ‘basic training’ for their position.

Although specifically designed to meet the needs of Scoutmasters and Assistants, this course is also suggested for Committee Members, Webelos Leaders and any interested Scouters who want to learn more about the basic scout skills for Scouts BSA.

YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS COURSE!
Due to a pre-activity planning exercise, the deadline to register is Friday, Sept 26th
