Special Features: Moderately wooded area with bunk rooms and kitchen
Latrine type: Latrine is at nearby Lenape campsite or Visitor's Latrine.

Lodge Specifics

The Handicraft Lodge is used during the Summer as the camps Handicraft educational headquarters and as a residence for some of the senior Staff.

Fall, Winter, and Spring features:

  • Accommodations for 30 campers
  • Water generally at the Lodge from mid-May to early September.
  • Usually accessible during the winter, occasionally with some restrictions

Lodge Access

The Handicraft Lodge is centrally located in the camp near the intersection of Applegate Lane and the COPE Road. Space for three vehicles is allowed down near the cabin during the winter when the roads are free of ice. A trailer can be towed the Lodge, but room is at a premium and you'll have to sacrifice a vehicle parking spot. The Lodge is a short walk from the Dining Hall and Administrative Building.

  • Located near the Dining Hall
  • Dining Hall and Shower Houses are the closest buildings to the Lodge
  • Centrally located, it has pathways and roads leading to the rest of the camp.
  • Has a campfire ring out in front and to one side of the building.

Fees

In-Council: $205.00 per weekend
Out-of-Council: $310.00 per weekend
