Council Venturing Vice President of Communications: Bridget McGowan
Hi Everybody! My name is Bridget McGowan, and I am honored to serve you in the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council as your Council Venturing Vice President of Communications!
 I am also the Treasurer of crew 3701 in Avoca, Pennsylvania, which I joined 4 years ago. Besides Venturing, I am also in Girl Scout, and I am currently working on my Gold Award. But I have to say Venturing is my favorite. From camping at West Point to earning my Outdoor Bronze Award, and everything in-between, there has never been a dull moment!
Outside of scouting, I am a Senior at Scranton Preparatory School, where I am a member of the Track team and an Usher for the school plays. I also enjoy playing softball for my town, Moosic, and working at Kmart. Next year, I plan to go to college to study Actuarial Science or Mathematics, with a minor in Community Service Studies. 
If it was not for Venturing, I would not be the person I am today. My main goal as Council Venturing Vice President of Communications is to help others have the same fun experiences I have had with my crew. Hope to see you all soon!
