2013 On-Line Merit Badge Registry - NOW OPEN
The Goose Pond On-Line Merit Badge Registry is now open to accept your Troop’s rosters and program selections! The Camp Contact Leaders have been emailed their Troop’s unique login and password. These are needed prior to utilizing the site and you need JavaScript enabled to view it. The Dickson Nature Lodge is a camper favorite Goose Pond. It will comfortably sleep 16 in one large bunkroom, with a separate front room containing a counter, stove, and refrigerator. During the winter, the Capouse campsite latrine is located a few steps away. Shady areas around the lodge allow for up to 10 2-man tents to be pitched.
Site Capacity: For small to medium sized units
Special Features: Moderately wooded with central clearing
Latrine type: Latrine is at nearby Capouse campsite.
Heat type: Propane wall heater and woodburning stove.
The Nature Lodge is used during the Summer as the camps Nature educational headquarters and as a residence for some of the senior Staff.

Goose Pond Scout Reservation near Lake Wallenpaupack, PA surrounds a beautiful 43 acre glacial lake. The 507 acre facility boasts a variety from terrain from heavily wooded ridges and cliffs, to wide open areas around the Pond, to shady groves of ancient fir trees that provide a wide variety of camping opportunities year-round for every type of Scouting unit and an unmatched Boy Scout Resident camping program during the summer months. In the winter we are short drive from Scranton all many other attractions the Poconos region is famous for.

Special Features: Moderately wooded area with bunk rooms and kitchen
Latrine type: Latrine is at nearby Lenape campsite or Visitor's Latrine.
Heat type: Central Propane.
The Handicraft Lodge is used during the Summer as the camps Handicraft educational headquarters and as a residence for some of the senior Staff.
Fall, Winter, and Spring features:


If you are looking for a nice, shady place to camp, Delaware may be the site for you. Close to the neighboring Capouse site, it is ideal for a unit that is big enough to take up both sites or for the unit that likes camping with a sister unit nearby. Across the road from Slocum and just down the road from the COPE course.
Site capacity: For medium to larger sized units
Special Features: Woody center with nicely shaded woods on edges
Latrine type: Modern-style pit latrine
