Service Area

The Two Mountains District of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council, Boy Scouts of America serves the majority of Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. The District serves almost 2000 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers in the following School Districts:

Hanover Area	Lake Lehman	Pittston Area
Tunkannock Area	Wilkes-Barre Area	Wyoming Area
	Wyoming Valley West

2013 Two Mountains District First Aid Meet RESULTS!

The 2013 Two Mountains First Aid meet held on April 12 was a BIG success!

Thanks to the students at TCMC we had 17 patrols and crews that participated in the event.

The top scoring patrols were:

Troop 281 (First Place)
Troop 444 (Second Place)
Troop 281 (Third Place).

The Top scoring crews were:

Crew 2025 (First Place)
Crew 3701 (Second Place).

A great time was had by all. The TCMC students even went through the scenarios at the end of the meet so each patrol knew what they were graded on and as a teaching moment just in case they any of these real life situations would ever arise.

Thanks to Keri Ann Stevenson, Matt Kongkatong, Mike Farrell, Chris Corey from TCMC for putting this all together and Michelle Junker, Dan Gross, Rahul Sharma, Dan Benyo, Daniel Gonzalez, Adam Pascoe, Parth Dalal, Matthew Cunningham-Hill, Aleksandra Kuczmarska, Anthony Manfredo, Allen Cheng, Jackie Piccolo, Zac Spalding, Stephanie Veit, Kevin Beltre, and Shrut Patel, all from TCMC for helping at the event.

Cub Scout Roundtable

CUB SCOUT ROUNDTABLES are held the first Wednesday of every month at St. Nicholas Church, 226 South Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, starting at 7:00 pm in the Community Room.

All leaders and anyone who is interested in learning about what is going on with the Cub Scout program are welcome and encouraged to attend. This is a great time of learning about the program and an opportunity to get new ideas to help enhance your units program. It is also a great time to have fellowship with other leaders and pick each others’ brains.

We want all of our units to have the best Scouting program they can and a lot of great ideas are shared at these Round Tables. So bring a friend and come out and join us.

Hopefully, you've noticed the changes that have been made to both the council and districts pages since the beginning of this year. We hope you have found the changes helpful and that it has become easier for you to get the information you need when you need it.

We continue to make changes and add / update content almost weekly, and we also continue to welcome and ask for your input. 2012 Two Mountains District Journey to Excellence

Congratulations and thank-you to all who helped the Two Mountains District achieve the Journey to Excellence Silver Level for 2012!

The District earned a total of 1475 points, but, unfortunately we were not able to attain Gold Level since we did not achieve at least a Bronze Level on our District Fundraising Goal.
