Again this year we will be recognizing the leaders in our District and the Units they support for their outstanding accomplishments in the past year. There will be District Award of Merits, Training Awards, Wood Badge Presentations, Veteran Awards, and special thanks for many District Volunteers. All unit leaders, committee members, parents, and charter organization representatives are highly encouraged to attend. Dress code will be Class A uniform. Any questions or suggestions may be directed to Mark Diefenderfer at (570) 417-6761.

We will be gathering beginning at 5:00PM. The Opening Ceremony will start at 5:30PM with dinner immediately following.

Awards will follow and the festivities should close by 8:00 PM.

District Award of MeritDistrict Award of Merit nominations, application for Veteran’s Awards and Training awards are due at the Service Center by March 31, 2012 to be presented at the District Dinner.

New Eagle Scouts from 2011 are welcome to attend and share some stories about their projects. The Troop or their parents can sponsor the Eagle’s cost, but reservations must be sent in by the March 31 deadline.

Reservations and payment are due at the Service and Training Center by March 31, 2012. Cost per person for the dinner is as follows:

Payment by March 31 $22.00
Payment from April 1 through April 14 $25.00
Payment on April 15 $30.00
