Just In!

The Council Historical Committee is pleased to announce that Thomas Kameroski’s book,

“A History of Goose Pond Scout Reservation”

has recently been published and available at the Scout Shop.

In addition to a complete narrative history of Goose Pond and the

camp honor societies, the book is loaded with over 200 archival photos of The Pond dating as

far back as the 1920’s.

The book is also accompanied by a DVD of vintage film footage of

Goose Pond from the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. The video segments were converted from old

16mm ‘home movie’ film reels.

The book with DVD is only $17 and is currently in stock at The Scout Shop. If you would like to purchase one and have it shipped to you,  call Dave at the Service Center (570-207-1227) or email
