Get Excited, Get Ready, Get Psyched for Summer Camp!!
A proud tradition of adventure and excitement in the outdoors has been Goose Pond's from the first campers in 1920 to the Scouts who walked through the gates just last year.
At Goose Pond, you will find something for everyone, from the newest Tenderfoot to the most intense Eagle. From Pathways to merit badges to the C.O.P.E. course and Voyager program for the elite outdoorsman, there's an exciting adventure for you.
Goose Pond Scout Reservation and Camp Acahela offer Venturing Camp opportunities.
It is with great pleasure that the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council, BSA presents you with the 2015 Goose Pond Scout Reservation Venturing Camp (GPSR-VC) Leaders Guide. This is the Third annual Venturing Week at GPSR, a Nationally Accredited Venturing Camp. The Northeastern Pennsylvania Council is dedicating a week of summer camp for those of us that wear "green."
Youth can attend this Venture Camp as provisional's. The staff at GPSR and additional Venture Crew leaders will be on staff that week. Both male and female leadership have been secured. So even if you as a leader are not available to attend, the youth still can.
